
Interest Transfer
BML requires all applicable documentation filed with the County Clerk’s office where the property is located. These documents must bear the county’s official file mark. Additionally, please provide contact information and details for any new interest owners.
Conveyance
For conveyance of mineral interests, BML requires:

A copy of the Assignment, Bill of Sale, Mineral Royalty Deed, or other conveyance document transferring the interest. This document must be filed with the County Clerk where the property is located.
Trusts
For property held in trust, BML requires:

A copy of the recorded conveyance document transferring the interest into the Trust, along with a copy of the Trust Agreement designating the Trustee.

If distributing from a Trust, provide a Trustee’s Distribution Deed from the Trustee to the beneficiaries. This document should also be filed with the County Clerk’s office in the county where the property and mineral interests are located.
Divorce
In the case of divorce, BML requires:

A copy of the Divorce Decree.
